ANY COMMITTEE, AGENCY OR OTHER BODY IN THE UNITED KINGDOM CONSTITUTED FOR THE PROVISION FOR THE SICK POOR OF NURSING OR OF FOOD OR COMFORTS OR NECESSARIES NOT BEING MEDICINES OR MEDICAL OR SURGICAL APPLIANCES, PROVIDED THAT THE TOTAL AMOUNT OF THE GRANT MADE IN ONE YEAR TO ANY BODY SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE-FOURTH OF THE TOTAL INCOME IN THE PRECEEDING YEAR.
