What the charity does

Enable persons from the Diocese of Winchester to visit the Churches of Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi and the DRC for the advancement of religion or other charitable work of those. Assist persons from those Churches with travelling or other expenses to visit the Diocese of Winchester. Provide funds for such other charitable purposes as the Bishop of Winchester may decide.

TO PROVIDE FOR THE ADVANCEMENT OF RELIGION AND OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES BY:PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN PROVIDING THE TRAVELLING AND OTHER COSTS AND EXPENSES TO ENABLE PERSONS FROM THE DIOCESE TO VISIT THE CHURCH OF UGANDA (BEING THE DIOCESES OF UGANDA, RWANDA, BURUNDI, THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF CONGO, MYANMAR AND SUCH OTHER DIOCESAN LINKS AS THE TRUSTEES MAY RESOLVE FROM TIME TO TIME)PROVIDING OR ASSISTING IN PROVIDING TRAVELLING AND OTHER EXPENSES TO ENABLE PERSONS FROM THE CHURCH OF UGANDA TO VISIT THE DIOCESE WITH A VIEW TO THE PROMOTION OR UNDERSTANDING AND CO-OPERATION BETWEEN THE WORK OF THE CHURCH IN THE DIOCESE AND IN THE CHURCH OF UGANDA.SUPPORTING A PARTICULAR CHARITABLE PROJECT OR PROJECTS FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL OR ANY PART OF THE CHURCH OF UGANDA AS SPECIFIED BY ONE OR MORE ARCHBISHOP WITHIN THE CHURCH OF UGANDAPROVIDING FUNDS FOR SUCH OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES AS SHALL BE DECIDED BY THE TRUSTEES AT THEIR DISCRETION
