Francis House Family Trust exists to manage & fund Francis House & Francis Lodge Children & Young Peoples Hospice. Providing respite & end of life care for children & young people with life limiting conditions, and the necessary support and short term care for their families. Care is available to families regardless of cultural or religious backgrounds. Care is family and child /young person led.

- Charitable Objects
- The Objects of the Charity are to promote the relief of illness and disability and suffering in such ways as the Charity shall from time to time think fit, and in particular in the North West of England and adjacent areas and in particular (but without prejudice to the generality whether geographical or otherwise of such object): 1.1. By establishing, maintaining and operating residential nursing and respite homes for the reception and care of children and young persons including the families and/or carers of children and young persons who are suffering from life limiting and life shortening illnesses (hereinafter referred to as ‘the Beneficiaries’) and the care and support of their families and/or carers;1.2. By providing, coordinating or promoting medical or other treatment or attention and appropriate support for the Beneficiaries and their families and/or carers in their own homes or at any other location; 1.3. By conducting or promoting or encouraging research into the care and treatment of the Beneficiaries and their families and/or carers, and promoting the dissemination of the results of such research; 1.4. By promoting or encouraging or assisting in the teaching or training of Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Psychotherapists, Administrators, Social Workers, Counsellors and other persons engaged in any branch of medicine, surgery, nursing or allied or complementary services, and in the teaching or training of students in any branch of medicine, surgery, nursing or allied or complementary services; 1.5. By assisting access to spiritual support and guidance for the Beneficiaries and their families and/or carers 1.6. By providing or assisting in the provision of financial, emotional and practical support of the families and carers of Beneficiaries in relation to grief and bereavement of a Beneficiary .
