What the charity does

The Society encourages an appreciation of the sciences and promotes co-operation within and between the University, the wider acedemic community, the public, industry and commerce. We promote all aspects of scientific education and the application of research. This is achieved through a programme of lectures by leading scientists and by occasional visits

Charitable Objects: The primary objective of CSAR is to encourage an appreciation of the Application of Research. The amount and number of awards, and criteria for application and method of selection, shall be determined by Council.c) Any other activities approved by Council which are in support of the primary objective of CSAR
