Charitable Objects
THE SOCIETY SHALL EXIST FOR THE FOLLOWING PURPOSES IN THE AREA COMPRISING BEESTON AND DISTRICT AND ITS SURROUNDING ENVIRONS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS THE AREA OF BENEFIT’): WITHIN THE AREA OF BENEFIT, IT SHALL AIM TO PRO-ACTIVELY ENGAGE WITH THE COMMUNITY TO:A) STIMULATE PUBLIC INTEREST IN AND APPRECIATION OF TOWN PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPE. B) PROMOTE HIGH STANDARDS OF TOWN PLANNING, ARCHITECTURE AND LANDSCAPE - INCLUDING LEISURE AND RECREATIONAL SPACES. C) SECURE THE PRESERVATION, PROTECTION, DEVELOPMENT AND IMPROVEMENT OF FEATURES OF HISTORIC OR PUBLIC INTEREST. D) UNDERTAKE, PROMOTE AND SUPPORT SUCH PUBLIC REALM, SUSTAINABILITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL ACTIVITIES THAT MAY ENHANCE COMMUNITY WELLBEING.
