What the charity does

Through using art as a means of supporting recovery we aim to promote the mental health of people in the Devon area, & specifically support those experiencing or recovering from mental ill health. We inspire our members to produce artwork which integrates them with the local community through exhibitions,open days,participation in festivals & accepting commissions.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC IN ALL AREAS RELATING TO MENTAL ILL HEALTH, PARTICULARLY IN THE DEVON AREA.3. TO PROMOTE SOCIAL INCLUSION FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT BY PREVENTING PEOPLE FROM BECOMING SOCIALLY EXCLUDED, RELIEVING THE NEEDS OF THOSE PEOPLE WHO ARE SOCIALLY EXCLUDED AND ASSISTING THEM TO INTEGRATE INTO SOCIETY THROUGH THE USE OF ART THERAPY. FOR THE PURPOSES OF THIS CLAUSE "SOCIALLY EXCLUDED" MEANS BEING EXCLUDED FROM SOCIETY, OR PARTS OF SOCIETY, AS A RESULT OF MENTAL ILL HEALTH.4.
