Bridgnorth District Community First Responders operates in the area of Bridgnorth and its surrounding environs, to work in partnership with West Midlands Ambulance Service University NHS Foundation Trust by responding to emergency calls for medical assistance. The volunteer first responders aim to provide emergency life sustaining treatment in the area, prior to the arrival of an Ambulance.

IN FURTHERANCE THEREOF, BUT NOT OTHERWISE BRIDGNORTH DISTRICT COMMUNITY FIRST RESPONDERS SHALL SEEK:A) TO ENABLE VOLUNTEER FIRST RESPONDERS TO PROVIDE DEFIBRILLATION, CPR AND OTHER LIFE-SAVING INTERVENTIONS IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR TRAINING.B) TO WORK IN PARTNERSHIP WITH THE WEST MIDLANDS AMBULANCE SERVICE TO SELECT, TRAIN AND PROVIDE ANNUAL TRAINING AND ASSESSMENTS FOR VOLUNTEER FIRST RESPONDERS.C) TO AIM TO PROVIDE EARLY LIFE SAVING INTERVENTION WITHIN THE BRIDGNORTH DISTRICT AREA WHENEVER POSSIBLE.D) TO RAISE AWARENESS OF THE NEED TO ESTABLISH THE ‘CHAIN OF SURVIVAL’ THROUGH EARLY INTERVENTION AS A MEANS OF INCREASING THE CHANCES OF SAVING LIFE.E) TO DO ALL THINGS AS WILL PROPERLY ATTAIN THE ABOVE PURPOSES.
