What the charity does
Akwaaba is a Hackney-based social centre for migrants. We offer a space for rest, play, learning and mutual support. Akwaaba seeks to reduce social isolation, to build lasting relationships between new members of the community and old (regardless of age, background or immigration status), and to foster solidarity in an extremely diverse inner London
