- TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF BERRIEW AND THE SURROUNDING DISTRICT BY PROVIDING FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INBALITANTS AND IN PARTICULAR TO:- (A) IMPROVE AND EXTEND EXISTING PLAYING AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES; (B) ENCOURAGE ALL FORMS OF RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES; (C) MANAGE, MAINTAIN, IMPROVE AND REPAIR THE PLAY AREAS ESTABLISHED AND THE EQUIPMENT AND MATERIALS PROVIDED AND TO RAISE MONEYS FOR THESE PURPOSE; (D) PURCHASE, TAKE ON LEASE OR OTHERWISE ACQUIRE ANY PROPERTY AND ANY RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES NECESSARY FOR THE PROMOTION OF THE SAID OBJECTS.
