Amberwood Animals rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes farmed animals in need, providing safe accommodation, appropriate food, and veterinary care. We work to educate the public on the welfare and ethical treatment of farmed animals through on-site visits and our volunteer programme.

THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE(1) FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC TO RELIEVE THE SUFFERING OF FARM ANIMALS IN ENGLAND IN NEED OF CARE AND ATTENTION BY REASON OF SICKNESS, MALTREATMENT, POOR CIRCUMSTANCES, POOR HOUSING OR ILL USAGE AND TO MAINTAIN A SANCTUARY OR OTHER FACILITIES FOR THE RECEPTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF SUCH ANIMALS, AND TO REHOME ANIMALS (WHERE APPROPRIATE) TO OTHER CHARITIES OR INDIVIDUALS ABLE AND WILLING TO PROVIDE EQUIVALENT (OR HIGHER) STANDARDS OF LONG TERM CARE AND HOUSING.(2) TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN MATTERS PERTAINING TO FARM ANIMAL WELFARE IN GENERAL AND THE PREVENTION OF CRUELTY AND SUFFERING AMONG SUCH ANIMALS IN PARTICULAR BUT NOT EXCLUSIVELY BY ONLINE EDUCATION, AND OBSERVATION OF AND INTERACTION (WHERE APPROPRIATE) WITH SUCH ANIMALS IN A SANCTUARY SETTING.
