THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE:- FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE PUBLIC LIVING IN GREATER LONDON, MIDDLESEX AND SURROUNDING AREAS ARE:1) TO ADVANCE THE HINDU RELIGION, SANATANA DHARMA, THIS INCLUDES THE EVENTUAL PROVISION OF A HINDU TEMPLE, CELEBRATING HINDU FESTIVALS, CULTURAL AND SPIRITUAL ACTIVITIES, AND SPREADING THE HINDU PHILOSOPHY OF PEACE, HARMONY AND ONENESS IN THE WIDER COMMUNITY.2) TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE BY PROVIDING ADVICE AND ASSISTANCE AND ORGANISING PROGRAMMES OF PHYSICAL, EDUCATIONAL AND OTHER ACTIVITIES AS A MEANS OF:(A) ADVANCING IN LIFE AND HELPING YOUNG PEOPLE BY DEVELOPING THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES AND CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS INDEPENDENT, MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS; (B) ADVANCING EDUCATION AND (C) RELIEVING UNEMPLOYMENT;3) TO PRESERVE AND PROTECT HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF PRACTICAL HEALTH ADVICE, WORKSHOPS AND SEMINARS, HEALTH SCREENINGS, SUPPORT GROUPS AND PROVISION OF VOLUNTEERS AND SUPPLIES FOR LOCAL HEALTHCARE FACILITIES ENHANCING THE CAPACITY TO DELIVER QUALITY CARE.
