- THE OBJECTS OF THE CIO ARE THE PRESERVATION AND PROTECTION OF MENTAL AND EMOTIONAL HEALTH FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT OF THOSE AFFECTED BY BABY LOSS BY:-- THE PROVISION OF ONLINE FORUMS, PEER SUPPORT NETWORKS, AND ORGANISED EVENTS WHERE BEREAVED INDIVIDUALS CAN CONNECT, SHARE EXPERIENCES, AND ACCESS MUTUAL SUPPORT;- THE PROVISION OF SUPPORT AND INFORMATION TO THOSE BEREAVED AND THEIR CARERS BY CREATING AND MAINTAINING A CENTRALISED NETWORK OF ACCESSIBLE RESOURCES, INFORMATION, AND SUPPORT SERVICES INCLUDING GRIEF RESOURCES FOR INDIVIDUALS AND FAMILIES AFFECTED BY BABY LOSS;- ESTABLISHING AN INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY, BOTH ONLINE AND IN-PERSON, WHERE THOSE AFFECTED BY BABY LOSS CAN SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER THROUGH SHARED EXPERIENCE AND MUTUAL AID; AND- ADVANCING PUBLIC EDUCATION AND AWARENESS OF BABY LOSS. NOTHING IN THIS CONSTITUTION SHALL AUTHORISE AN APPLICATION OF THE PROPERTY OF THE CIO FOR THE PURPOSES WHICH ARE NOT CHARITABLE IN ACCORDANCE WITH SECTION 7 OF THE CHARITIES AND TRUSTEE INVESTMENT (SCOTLAND) ACT 2005 AND SECTION 2 OF THE CHARITIES ACT (NORTHERN IRELAND) 2008.
