THE OBJECT[S] OF THE CIO 1.TO ADVANCE AMATEUR SPORT, IN PARTICULAR CRICKET, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT AND IN PARTICULAR PEOPLE OF AFRICAN CARIBBEAN HERITAGE BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR THE PLAYING OF CRICKET. 2.TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE THROUGH STRUCTURED CRICKET COACHING, MENTORING, TRAINING AND RELATED PROGRAMMES THAT BUILD CONFIDENCE, LEADERSHIP AND LIFE SKILLS 3.TO RELIEVE FINANCIAL HARDSHIP BY SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS AND COMMUNITY CRICKET CLUBS IN ACCESSING TRAINING, EQUIPMENT, FACILITIES AND DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES THAT THEY WOULD OTHERWISE BE UNABLE TO AFFORD. 4.TO PROMOTE EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY IN SPORT BY ADDRESSING BARRIERS TO PARTICIPATION AND UNDER-REPRESENTATION OF AFRICAN CARIBBEAN INDIVIDUALS IN CRICKET, AND BY DELIVERING INCLUSIVE COMMUNITY OUTREACH AND ENGAGEMENT INITIATIVE
