02 Activities
What the charity does
The society holds monthly talks, meetings and visits throughout the year as well as attending many local events, often in period costume. We visit local schools to teach about Viking and Saxon life and the Battle of 1066 itself. Members carry out research and community archaeology projects. We are currently seeking funds to establish a museum in the village for our large collection of artefacts.
