Charitable purposes
The objects (“Objects) of the company are to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the districts of Armagh, Banbridge, Craigavon, Cookstown, Dungannon, Magherafelt, Newry and Mourne and their surrounding environs in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and promote health and well being with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in particular: (a) the provision of advice, training, information and support services to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of voluntary and community organisations; (b) to provide support, training and advice on volunteering to support volunteer placement organisations; (c) to provide facilities and programmes designed to improve the health, safety and social welfare of the inhabitants in the area of benefit.
