The Promotion of Sport within the Province of Ulster within Ireland by: • Providing Financial Awards to Individuals and Groups to assist with competition as amateur(s) • Providing support to help the development of skills and capabilities of sportsmen and women to enable participation in sport and maximise potential • Helping sportsmen and women especially, but not exclusively, through sport so as to develop their capabilities to enable them to participate in Society as independent and responsible individuals • Anything else considered necessary or expedient to the Promotion of Sport as deemed necessary by the Directors. Nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the charity for purpose which are not charitable in accordance with section 2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008, section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005 and section 2 of the Charities Act 2011.
