To promote the benefit of all those residing in the Queens Park area and its environs (the 'area of benefit') without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to: (a) relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health or other disadvantage; (b) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the area of benefit; (c) promote good community relations, religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity and explore differing cultural beliefs and traditions; (d) advance education and health; (e) promote environmental improvement, remove litter and and otherwise improve the appearance of the area of benefit.
