The Assocation is established to relieve poverty, and the aged and to promote the perservation and protection of health among older people aged 55 or over and to promote the benefit of older people in Fivemiletown and its surrounding environs (hereinafter called the area of benefit ) and in particular: A provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for older people. B raise awareness among the general public of the needs and experiences of older people in the area of benefit
