Charitable purposes

The objects of the company shall be to: (i) promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Cooneen / Coonian, comprised of the following townlands Aghavoory, Aghacramphill, Altagoaghan, Altawark, Altmartin, Altnaponer, Agheeghteer, Atnamollyboy, Attyclannabryan, Brobrohan, Bunnisnagapple, Coonian/Cooneen, Corlacky, Crocknagrally, Curraghfad, Crockadreen, Carrickapolin, Cornarooslan, Crockaclavin, Derrynavogy, Doogary, Derrintony, Derrycrum, Derrycullion, Erdinagh, Eshnasillog-More, Eshnasillog-Beg, Foglish, Grogey, Glenoo, Mullaghfad, Mulynavale, Legatillida, Stripe, Tattenabuddagh, and Tattenaheglish (the “area of benefit”), without distinction of sex, race or political, religious or other opinions by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, preserve and protect health and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants; (ii) to preserve and protect for the benefit of the public whatever land, buildings or other structures may exist in the area of benefit of particular beauty or historical or architectural interest; (iii) to promote and encourage for the benefit of the public of conservation, protection, development and improvement of the countryside of the area of benefit.
