The Association is established for the preservation and protection of health, the relief of poverty, sickness and distress among the inhabitants living in the Newry and Armagh area and their environs, who are suffering or have suffered as a result of the conflict in Northern Ireland, their relatives and carers, and in particular: a) To support social inclusion and foster an atmosphere of mutual support and encouragement among persons so affected through the provision of educational, social and recreational activities.
