Charitable purposes
The Company's objects are: (1) To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Annalong & District (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") without distinction of sex, race, political, religious or other opinion by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance employment, environmental regeneration and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants, and fostering peace and reconciliation between the inhabitants of the area of benefit and of Northern Ireland. (2) To provide assistance in the areas of employment and environmental regeneration within the area of benefit by means of community environmental schemes, enterprise schemes and the provision or support of facilities necessary or convenient for the promotion of the objects of the Company.
