Objects to promote the benefit of and the preservation and protection of health among children, young people and adults with disabilities and able bodied people living in the Greater Shantallow area and its environs in Derry City Council by associating local people, voluntary and community organisations and statutory bodies in a common effort to relieve poverty and advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said beneficiaries and in particular: a) To establish a safe and neutral public play space to promote inclusive play and recreational opportunities for the beneficiaries; b) To provide programmes of education and vocational training designed to assist the beneficiaries to lead to employment.
