Stranocum Community Centre Ltd. has been set-up to promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Stranocum and its environs, without distinction of gender, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, or political, religious or other opinion, by associating with the statuatory authorities, voluntary groups or community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to: 1) promote community development by providing facilities, support and information for community and voluntary groups and organisations and assisting such organisations to co-operate to achieve their aims. 2) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents. 3) relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage. 4) advance education and training and the arts and culture. 5) promote amateur sport and participation in healthy recreation. 6) advance environmental protection and improvement and improve or provide public amenities. 7) promote good community relations and social cohesion, racial harmony and equality and diversity.
