3. The association is established to: 3.1 Provide financial support and assistance for the relief of financial hardship amongst families of head injured persons of all ages within the environs of Northern Ireland, so that families, and in particular parents, are in a position to provide uninterrupted care and support to those directly affected by head injury. 3.2 To relieve the needs of the brothers and sisters of family members affected by head injury within the environs of Northern Ireland, by providing them with financial support and assistance, emotional and moral support and by offering recreational activities aimed at supporting them in coping with having a family member affected by head injury. 3.3 Provide emotional and moral support to families of head injured persons of all ages within the environs of Northern Ireland, so that families are given the support they need to deal with the challenges they face in dealing with incidents of head injury. 3.4 To raise awareness of the scale of people affected by head injury in Northern Ireland, the nature of their conditions and the impacts of head injury on the wider family circle.
