Charitable purposes

The charity’s Objects are specifically restricted to the following, for the benefit of the public, to advance education, to prevent and relieve poverty and to relieve those in need by reason of financial hardship or other disadvantage by: 3.1 the promotion of the provision and use of good quality registered childcare for the social welfare interests of children and their parents; and 3.2 the provision of information on all aspects of childcare and work related issues, and to raise awareness of the support available for parents including financial support with childcare costs, and associated employment rights; and 3.3 undertaking research into all aspects of childcare and work related issues including parental entitlements and the provision of childcare; to publish the useful results of that research; and 3.4 raising awareness about the various issues relating to provision of childcare facilities and parental entitlements. Nothing in the articles shall authorise an application of the property of the Charity for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with s.2 of the Charities Act (Northern Ireland) 2008.
