Charitable purposes

The Association is established to advance education, promote the arts and relieve people with disabilities within the Borough of Dungannon and South Tyrone and its environs of County Tyrone and County Londonderry (hereinafter called the area of benefit) and in particular: To promote and encourage participation by people with disabilities in all or any aspects of the arts, including the visual and dramatic arts, music and dance, and provide opportunities for such participation; To raise awareness (through the use of artistic means) among the general public about the experiences and abilities of people with disabilities within the area of benefit and an appreciation amongst the general public of disability arts; and To provide, or assisting in the provision of facilities for education, recreation or other leisure-time occupation for the benefit of disabled people within the area of benefit.
