Charitable purposes
Youthnet is a network of voluntary youth organisations. It exists to represent, support and develop the interests and aspirations of its membership, and to promote the independent voice of the voluntary youth sector. It does this by: Providing support for member organisations which in turn advance the emotional, intellectual, physical, spiritual, social and political development of young people. Providing information, training and advice, which enhance the effectiveness of member organisations in promoting educational, social and liesure activities for the benefit of young people. Consulting its membership, primarily through the Advisory Council. Representing the voluntary youth work sector at policy level. Researching into good practice and innovative youth work and publishing the results of such research. Providing a grant giving function.
