The Company’s objects are:- a) To enhance the dignity and to improve the lives of people living in poverty by responding to challenges of poverty at a local level with communities and partners and by facilitating development and emergency relief programmes to the highest standards possible to benefit those in greatest need. b) To enable people to help themselves by providing practical opportunities to create a better future. c) To work with determination and care to empower people in need regardless of race, gender, religion or political affiliation. d) To work in developing countries for the advancement of children's rights in accordance with the principles set out in the U.N. Convention on the Rights of the Child and to implement high quality early childhood care and education to help disadvantaged children (regardless of health, disability, financial, or other, hardship) to perform effectively in their schools and communities and improve their overall wellbeing, thus alleviating the needs of those who may be socially excluded and assisting them to integrate into their societies.
