Purposes and classifications
Charitable purposes
All moneys received by the Governors under or for the Objects of this Scheme, shall, subject to other provisions herein contained, and to any special trusts or conditions upon which any part thereof may have been received, be expended and applied by them for the following Objects, or for such and so many of them as to the Governors shall from time to time seem expedient:- (a) to make grants for or towards the education and maintenance of Children selected as hereinafter provided to receive such aid. (b) to care for and support children in need whether material, physical, mental, emotional or spiritual and to promote their material, physical, mental, emotional and spiritual development whether through their families, Church or community or otherwise howsoever that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society. (c) to provide day care and residential establishments for children and, where appropriate, their families. (d) to make such other provision in such matters and subject to such conditions as the Governors may consider advantageous. (e) to pay all rent, taxes, cost of insurance and other charges, necessarily or properly payable out of or for the Endowments and to defray the necessary working expenses of the Society. (f) to defray other expenses of carrying out the purposes of this Scheme.
