Provide and maintain a Forum where member organisations can join together to identify the needs of the Ballybeen area (the "area of benefit"), find mutual support, exchange views, share common issues and information, create a collective voice for the community and voluntary sector and work in partnership with statutory agencies and authorities to improve the delivery and targeting of services. Advance community development in the area of benefit and in particular the promotion of the community and voluntary sector for the benefit of the public by providing training, support, information, facilities and amenities to, and promote good practice among, community and voluntary groups. Facilitate environmental improvement and promote renewal of the area of benefit. Relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage. Promote good community relations, religious and racial harmony and equality and diversity.
