Charitable purposes

The purpose of the Club is to improve the general lifestyle and environment of the Community through Educational, Recreational and Social gatherings, so that members can meet to enjoy general discussion, social interaction, entertainments, etc. In order to do this we shall: • secure charitable status and to establish a cross community focus group of older people across the Birches area. • act as a ‘voice’ for older people in this area, enabling them to speak on their own behalf. • develop and enhance links between older people’s groups, through sharing ideas and experiences.
