The objects of the Company are for the benefit of the public and as an expression of Christian faith and service: - (a) to advance education in the prevention of Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and (b) the relief of need, sickness and distress of persons suffering from the said syndrome in any part of the world and (c) for such charitable purposes ancillary to the said objects as the Trustees may determine. The term Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome shall include what is currently known as acquired immunodeficiency syndrome and related or similar or associated conditions including the earliest stages of infection or illness.
