Charitable purposes
To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the Ballymarlow & District area and its environs ( the “area of benefit”) without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, age, race, ethnicity, or political, religious or other opinion by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary and community organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to: (a) advance community development by providing resources, facilities, support to community and voluntary groups and organisations and encouraging and assisting such organisations to co-operate to achieve their aims; (b) promote culture and the arts, particularly that of the Ulster Scots language, music and dancing; (c) relieve those in need by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability or other disadvantage; (d) advance health and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and other leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents; (e) promote good community relations, racial harmony and equality and diversity.”
