The group was established for the promotion of the public benefit of the inhabitants of Doury Road Estate in Ballymena ( Hereinafter described as the area of benefit) and to advance their economic, social, environment, community development and educational welfare without distinction of age, gender, race, political, religious or other opinion, disability, sexual orientation, martial status or those with or without dependants by associating with the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare, health, recreation or leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.
