Charitable purposes

The Association is established to promote the social welfare of the inhabitants of the Corran area of Co Armagh and its environs (hereinafter described as "the area of benefit") without distinction of age, sex, race, political, religious or other opinion, by associating the statutory authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to combat poverty, to advance education, to provide facilities for the recreation or other leisure time occupation of the inhabitants, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.
