Charitable purposes

The Charity's objects ("Objects") are specifically restricted to the following:- (1) To promote the physical, intellectual and social development of young children, particularly those experiencing social or economic deprivation by: (i) providing high quality learning environments and child care that promotes early learning, providing stimulating and enjoyable play experiences, improving language skills and ensuring early identification and support of children with special needs; (ii) supporting early bonding between parents and their children and enabling the early identification and support of children with additional needs; (iii) supporting parents in caring for their children to promote healthy development; (iv) developing the capacity and skills of parents in such a way that they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society. (2) Harpurs Hill Children and Family Centre works for the benefit of the public who are parents and children under the age of four across the area of Coleraine and in particular the Wards of Ballysally, Cross Glebe, Central and Churchlands, Royal Portrush as well as the housing estates of Millburn and Windyhall.
