To promote the preservation and protection of health, of the inhabitants of Cookstown, Magherafelt and surrounding areas of Mid-Ulster and other parts of Northern Ireland as from time to time determine (hereinafter called the area of benefit) without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, by associating the statutory authority, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to advance education particularly but not exclusively in relation to drug and alcohol use, awareness, sexual and mental health, with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.
