Charitable purposes

Purpose: To assist underprivileged children in Romanian orphanages and families who live in poor conditions in Romania. The Trustees are satisfied that both elements of the public benefit requirement are met. The beneficiaries are children in Romanian orphanages and families living in poor conditions. The direct benefits flowing from the purposes include the provision of accommodation to children between 5 and 18 years of age from an orphanage background who are in need of such accommodation, the provision of shelter, food and clothing to them, an encouragement to attend school as well as assistance with their education such as homework or personal hygiene and the assistance of families through the provision of parcels of food and clothing. Demonstrating the benefits The Child protection Agency will be closely monitoring Real Hope activities, on monthly bases through it is own social workers already allocated to the children we will be working with. While in our care the children will be attending the state run school which will also be monitoring their progress while in the care of Real Hope. The trustees acknowledge that there can always be risk attached when working with vulnerable children; these risks are mitigated by working with support from, and under the umbrella of, the Child Protection Agency in Brasov, Romania. The only private benefit we have identified is the payment of employed staff who will occupy the role of care assistants for the children we will be working with. This benefit is incidental and necessary in order to carry out the purposes.
