Charitable purposes

The company’s objects (“Objects) are specifically restricted to the following: To relieve poverty and promote the protection and preservation of health in any part of the world (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) by associating the statutory authorities and voluntary organisations in a common effort for the relief of human suffering, sickness and distress and in particular: (a) To provide, or assist in the provision of medical equipment, supplies and humanitarian aid to hospitals, medical centres and orphanages in impoverished areas of the world; (b) To provide and co-ordinate volunteers to work overseas and in Northern Ireland and Ireland to support the work of the company; (c) Ancillary to the primary objects, assist hospitals and health trusts in Northern Ireland and Ireland with the protection of the environment through the recycling and redistribution of medical equipment and supplies; (d) To advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the directors may, from time to time, decide in accordance with the law of charity.
