Charitable purposes

The objects of the charity (“the objects”) are: To advance the Christian faith for the benefit of the general public; (1) Through encouragement, support and help, both spiritual and physical, to those Christians working in the UK and abroad, who seek to promote, maintain, practice and share the gospel of God concerning His Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. (2) By the encouragement of preaching and teaching the Christian faith, through evangelism, Bible teaching, missions, outreach and other various forms of spiritual and practical Christian exercise as the trustees may deem appropriate, to promote, maintain, practice and share the Christian faith; (3) Through encouragement, support and help, both spiritual and physical, to other Christians working in the UK and abroad, who seek to contribute to the spiritual and moral education of adults and children through evangelism, preaching and Bible teaching. (4) By raising awareness and understanding of the Christian faith and its practices and to enlighten others about the way of the Christian faith; through promotion and provision of: (a) The Holy Bible in various languages, religious books, tracts, leaflets, literature, or digital format media and other information for the public; (b) The general study of the scriptures and religious teachings; (c) Specific Biblical instruction, supervision, pastoral work and support; (d) Opportunities for prayer, praise and worship through meetings, conferences, seminars and talks. (5) By demonstrating as a practical expression to others, the love of God for them and the free expression of the Christian faith we seek to promote, through assisting in the prevention and relief of human poverty, either spiritual or physical, in ways and means as the trustees may deem appropriate in the circumstances. (6) By informing others about the advancement of the Christian faith in the countries the charity operates; through promotion and provision of: (a) Meetings, conferences, seminars and talks; (b) Reports, letters and updates (c) Information via the internet; (d) Opportunities for worship, praise and intercessory prayer. The objects of our charity will be conducted in accordance with the “Statement of Faith” attached to this Trust Deed (see Schedule One). This “Statement of “Faith” demonstrates this charities Biblical foundation, Scriptural mandate; ethical framework and the spiritual and moral benefits promoted by it.
