Charitable purposes

The Charity’s objects (“Objects”) are to promote the health and wellbeing of persons who are suffering emotional distress, including but not restricted to stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, self esteem issues, self harming behaviour, suicidal ideation or actions (hereinafter referred to as “the beneficiaries”) in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Ireland (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”), without distinction of age, gender, disability, sexual orientation, nationality, ethnic identity, political or religious opinion, in order to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants and in particular to: (a) protect the health and promote self awareness and responsibility amongst the beneficiaries by the provision of counselling and other related services; (b) facilitate training and opportunities for counsellors, trainee counsellors, volunteer counsellors, parents, carers and the beneficiaries.
