Cairde Ui Neill is established for the advancement of education and for the promotion of the preservation and protection of health through the medium of the Irish Language in the South Tyrone ares and its environs in Co. tyrone for the benefit of the general public regardless of age, sex, race, religious, political or other opinion and in particular, but not so as to limit the generality of the foregoing: To advance the education of pre-school age and school age children and/or adult learners by providing support (financial, technical or otherwise) for the charitable work of Naisscoil Ui Neill, Iar Scoil Ui Neill or Gaelscoil Ui Neill or any other Irish-medium charitable projects in the area of benefit. To promote the awareness of, and knowledge of the arts, crafts, traditions, folklore, history and of the musical and linguistic and cultural heritage of the area of benefit for the benefit of the public. The establishment of a centre for the promotion of Irish-medum education, Irish-medium arts, Cultural heritage and to maintain and manage that centre in cooperation with any local statutory authorities
