Dunnygarron Cultural Society was established (a) to advance community development by providing resources, facilities, support and information to community and voluntary groups and organisations and to encourage and assist such organisations to achieve their aims (b) to promote and preserve the heritage of local people in particular those who reside in the Cullybackey area (c) to promote cultural confidence and civic pride, bolster morale of the community and harness the abilities of local people (d) to facilitate the examination, exploration and appreciation by all, of history, heritage and culture in an open and positive manner to encourage mutual understanding
