Charitable purposes

The objects of the Company shall be to advance the education of the public in the history, culture, folk and community traditions relating to the cultural use of masks, and, in particular the mumming tradition in Ireland and to advance the arts, culture and heritage by: (i) promoting performances of dramatic works and dance, music and mime, storytelling; (ii) holding workshops, lectures, exhibitions; (iii) encouraging cultural exchange visits between countries and communities in which there is a continuing folk and community tradition of using masks; (iv) conducting research into aspects of mumming and the cultural use of masks in folk and community traditions and dissemination of the useful results of such research.
