The objects and purposes for which the Company is established are wholly charitable and are to promote, maintain, improve and advance education, particularly musical education and knowledge of and attainment in the Arts particularly music and further to such and in the interests of the general public (inter alia) to provide, maintain and equip an orchestra in Northern Ireland to be known as "the Ulster Orchestra" which shall be devoted to the attainment and maintenance of high musical standards and artistry.
