2.1. “The Group is established (a) to provide a Cultural and educational resource, that will impact upon local musical heritage and cultural traditions associated with all aspects of the Ulster-Scots people within the Kingdom of Mourne, its hinterlands, and beyond (b) To further advance, promote and preserve the culture and heritage associated with the Festival and to promote cultural confidences and civic pride, and bolster the morale of our Ulster-Scots community and harness the talents and enhance the abilities of the membership within the group.”
