Charitable purposes

The Association is established to promote the benefit of migrants, refugees, asylum seekers and their families from non EU countries, in particular by not exclusively, (hereinafter called the “beneficiaries”) living in Derry City and its environs of County Londonderry, (hereinafter called the “area of benefit”) by associating the statutory authorities, community and voluntary organisations and the inhabitants in a common effort to promote racial harmony, equality and diversity and in particular: a) to relieve need, hardship and distress among beneficiaries and their families through the provision of information, advice, support and representation; b) to promote good community relations and the social inclusion of the beneficiaries through the provision of educational, social, recreational and multicultural activities; c) to advance any other exclusively charitable purpose as the management, may from time to time, decide in accordance with the law of charity.
