Charitable purposes

The Trustees must apply the income of the Trust to further any of the following objects ('the objects'): i) for the relief of poverty and social benefit and advancement and propagation of education and learning of persons in Europe and/or Africa, to include the academic, social, moral and physical development of persons whom the trustees, as stated herein, choose to benefit. To include the provision of finance to a body of persons established for the purpose of educating its members to include but not limited to schools. Also to include the provision of buildings, equipment and facilities which are to be used for the provision of education and learning of persons in Europe or for the support of a non-profit making educational establishment. ii) to promote the health and well being of the public as a whole. To include the promotion of medical research. Also to include the provision of finance: a) for the building of, renovation of, provision of medical equipment to, any non-profit making hospital which provides health care to the public as a whole; b) for the provision of accommodation such as non-profit making rest homes, children's home and Orphanages in order to assist the charitable activities of promoting the health and well-being of its residents. iii) for the benefit of any registered charity that promotes the advancement of the aims as stated in (i) above of any of the beneficiaries stated in clause 4 hereto. iv) for the benefit of any registered charity that promotes the health and well being of any of the beneficiaries stated in clause 4 hereto. Any application of the income of the Trust requires written consent of at least three of the Trustees. Any application of the income of the Trust must be for the purposes deemed charitable according to the law of Northern Ireland.
