Charitable purposes
The Association is established for the relief of poverty, the advancement of education and to promote the preservation of health in Degan, Ethiopia (hereinafter called the "area of benefit") who are suffering from the effects of adverse social and economic circumstances (hereinafter called "the beneficiaries") and in particular: a) to provide educational facilities and materials in the interest of promoting academic opportunities and achievement in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said people; b) to provide and manage an emergency ambulance service in the area of benefit for the benefit of the beneficiaries; c) to train the beneficiaries in managing sustainable trades through teaching basic finances, project management and other appropriate skill; d) the recruitment, selection and sending out of volunteers for short term service overseas.
