Purposes and classifications
Charitable purposes
The objects of the Foundation are to meet the needs of individuals and families who have experienced difficulties, without distinction of race, religion or political opinion by association with statutory bodies, voluntary organizations, institutions and business in a common effort to promote Christianity and alleviate poverty and disadvantage, advance education, promote social inclusion and spiritual awareness; and in particular to: (i) Provide support systems in the interest of social welfare for a healthy and fulfilling lifestyle; (ii) Provide for the needs of individuals and families in need of support due to abuse, homelessness and social deprivation and all that this entails. (iii) Promote support and assistance to overcome the difficulties that abuse, homelessness and social deprivation can impose on the family and individual. (iv) Respect and encourage self-development, empowering the individual to lead a fulfilling life and in particular to meet the needs of the whole person by offering spiritual as well as emotional, educational and moral guidance, the members and employees of the Foundation being in agreement with the Evangelical Christian Ethos of the Cithrâh Foundation.
